What is Shoot the Designer?

Shoot the Designer is a web and media design studio based in Newcastle, Australia. We are not a large, intimidating boutique agency, nor are we a quaint, tiny operation. We are a small but creative design firm that created solutions that work, even if you don’t know anything about the web or design. We sell products and approaches that capture and enhance the image of your business. We create, as artists do, in a specialised medium, and harness it to create works that solve problems. We take one thousand words and create a picture, take what you want to say and make it tangible.

We specialise in small to medium sized businesses. We know that not everyone wants to appear large, modern, exclusive and wealthy, or like a large corporation based in a capital city, because not every business fits that archetype. Unfortunately, with many design firms, a “professional” design often involves portraying a business just like this. Everything to do with a business should reflect who they are at heart. We primarily focus on web based solutions, but we also specialise in print media (business cards, fliers, posters, portfolios, and letterheads to name a few) and complete branding solutions that involve building an image for your business from the ground up.
